Mom-in-Law B-day

The very next day was my mother-in-laws birthday.  I picked VM up from the airport at 1:00 and headed to his mom's house for a quick birthday visit.  I knew he was going to be tired from jet lag, but his second wind kicked in and we ended up taking her out to dinner.

Dad's B-day

Dad didn't want a big celebration for his birthday.  He was having us over as well as HB & her husband.  Dad decided he wanted to do a BBQ with a little dessert for his special day.  Of course, when it came to do his birthday cake (cheesecake), there were no candles in the house.  So, mom grabbed one of her candles from her shrine and were able to have a complete celebration!!

Who's Wrapped Up?

Life with a little toddler is never dull!  I can honestly say once you're on your third child, there really isn't much that will phase you.  I find that I'm not quite on edge and will allow my little tot to explore on his own free will (of course, I'm not going to let him go hog wild!).  

So, on this particular evening, I left the wrapping paper out thinking there is no way this would peek his interest.  I left to go attend to some things in the kitchen, and when I returned...guess who got all wrapped up?!

         I wonder who this could be?

  

   Ah ha!  Never underestimate a toddler!      

The Other Foot

MA has started to put on his own shoes.  Some days he's got it right but then other days...can't tell which foot is right!  For him, if the shoe fits ~ he'll definitely wear it!!

HB's Baby Shower

Hard to believe, but yes, I am going to be a grandma!  TJ and MM will be uncles!! 
Earlier this month, my mom, HB, TJ and I went to Hesperia for HB's shower.  HB's dad and stepmom were hosting it at their house.  A lot of people showed up and HB received a ton of gifts for the baby.  It was nice to see my former extended family and meet some new people as well.
