"Your Bed"

I was worried that MA wouldn't transition very well from crib to big boy bed.  How wrong I was!  He loves his bed!!  When he turned 2, we bought him his new bed and took him to Target to pick out his sheets and all the accessories. 

In the evening he'll have his milk and watch Curious George in our bed.  When it's time to go to sleep, I would tell him, Let's go to "your bed".  So off we go.

One night after he had his milk and I took him to pee, he asked to go to "your bed".  So of course, I took him to my bed thinking he wanted to lie down with me for a little bit.  He started getting fussy and kept saying "your bed" and pointing to his room.  I finally got it!  Every night when he finished watching his show in my bed, I would always tell him "Ok, let's go your bed".

So he thinks his bed is called "your bed" because his mommy always tells him to go to your bed!!! 

1st Easter Hunt

This was MA's first Easter.  We're not big on celebrating Easter but decided to have everyone over and incorporated it with the get together.  I figured if I was hosting the dinner, I might as well dye some eggs.

So, the night before I boiled the eggs, dyed and decorated them while MA was asleep.  No way was I going to do this with him, there would be dye all over the kitchen floor...not good with how active my little one is.

Before dinner, I made VM hide the eggs in our backyard.  MA's Vava bought him a stuffed bunny and some chocolate so VM hid those as well.

MA understood the concept of "hunting" for the eggs and found some on his own!

This was the first thing MA saw hiding in the bushes.

I found one Daddy!

Yes!  Chocolate for my mom!

Good for the Teeth

VM & I always floss at night.  Taking care of your teeth is essential to one's health. 

MA is tall enough that he can reach the floss on the bathroom counter.  So, one of the first things he grabs is the roll of dental floss.  We decided to give him some floss since he was so interested in what we do with it.

Imagination

VM started taking MA to Imagination which is a 45 minute class that toddlers are exposed to preschool activites.  This is a great bonding time for father and son.  MA loves it because he gets to experiment with paints and see his friend Arjin. 

Right now it's just the two of them since the dad's have Monday off.  Eventually, days will be changing since Arjin will be going on Thursday instead of Monday.  So, I will start taking him on Friday since their's a class of toddlers at that time. 

Out of all my kids, MA is definitely one that likes to get down and dirty.  HB liked doing projects but after a while got tired of it.  TJ didn't like getting his hands dirty for very long, he'd rather socialize than work.  MA truly enjoys it and has made some very nice pictures for me to hang up at home!

Home from the Hospital

Our first official visit of LN at home.  We stayed to visit and then went shopping to make life for the new parents a little easier.  As most of us know, now that the little one is here, your world gets turned around!
