Ahhh! Babe Ruth 2012 season in full swing! The majority of the boys on his team he's played with or against throughout the years. A few of them are from rival schools he played against in high school ball so he got to know them better.
The Angels overall did a great job and came in 2nd place at the end of the season.
TJ main positions were catcher and pitcher. He had a few balls coming his way...the worst was when he was on deck and his teammate hit a foul ball and it went right toward him! Popped him in the upper right back and he was out for the rest of the game (it was only the 1st inning). I wasn't there yet, but one of the moms on the other team had texted me to let me know I should check him out!
The second worst one was against the same team and he was the catcher. The pitch just hit him inches from his throat!! The next thing I knew, TJ just fell forward trying to catch is breath. Whew! Talk about a close call. Now that a foul ball comes close to anyone, they always yell "Flashback"!
