School Bus

MA knows what a school bus is and will let you know it.  When we drop off big brother, we drive by three different schools.  So, he is never disappointed because there is a school bus coming and going in all directions.  And he knows the difference between a school bus vs. a city bus.  He will let you know what type of bus it is, just in case you didn't know.
TJ had a baseball game and his dad and family were in town visiting.  TJ's step-sisters were having fun playing with MA.  Across the parking lot was a school bus, so MA and the girls decided to check it out!

Wow!  It's big!

It's alright, you can touch it.

Hmmm, what's under there?

Ok, I'm done.

Let's get outta here!

First Official Picture

Well, this is the first picture of the Great Grandma and Grandma with our LN.
All I can say is that, we sure look good!

The Arrival of LN

The first official "Grandbaby" has arrived!  I still can't believe I'm a "Grandma"!!
She arrived at 1:24am this morning.  She weighed 7lbs 11oz and was 20 1/2 inches long.
Her momma, HB, was a trooper.  Delivering a baby is hard work!  After witnessing my sister and daughter go through their labors, I just have to say "Power to Mothers"...they are a blessing!  Dad's treat them well, they go through so much to have your little one but we mom's know it is definitely worth it in the end!
Cheers to Motherhood!

A "Win" for the Flames

Finally, TJ's school baseball team got their 1st win of the season.  They definitely needed this to help with the moral of the team.  TJ came up as the MVP of this game.  He was the starting pitcher and ended up closing the game with only 66 pitches.  We're proud of you!

6th Place

Well, the Spelling Bee was on March 18th at the Civic Auditorium.  TJ's grade was competing at 1:00 and I was so nervous for him.  He studied some the of words they had given him, but for the most part...I think he just went into this winging it.  Whatever he placed, he would be happy with!
Out of twenty-two kids, he placed 6th!  The word he missed...flagon!
GO TJ!

MA's 1st Party

We were invited to Maci's 1st birthday, and MA's first official invite.  There was a bounce house for the festivities and even a pony for the kids to ride.  MA had a lot of fun, even though the kids that were there were either 1 and under, or 7 and older.  So he ended up socializing with a lot of the grown ups there.  He didn't mind, he was in his own world having fun!

He wondered what was behind the net!

Giddy up!

There's the birthday girl!

MA didn't care about the cake, the car got his attention!

Game 3

I missed the last game because it fell on a workday.  I was able to make game 3 and was suprised to see TJ on the pitching mound.  Of course as a mom, I was nervous for him because he hasn't pitched in a year.  And his main position is catcher so he doesn't have the opportunity to practice pitching.
He actually did pretty good and was able to make a few strikeouts!

Batter Up!

Ahhh, finally baseball season has arrived.  TJ made the school team and is their starting catcher.  Their first game was against their rival...Woodrow Wilson!  He knew most of the kids on the team because he's played with a lot of them in Little League.
I was hoping this season was going to be better than last year.  It didn't start out very promising and didn't get any better from there.  Toward the end of the game, I had a inkling that this season is going to be a repeat of last season!  Oh well, at least the kids are having fun!

                                                The boys warming up!

Even MA ready to watch brother play!
