TJ and his friend, AF had it all planned that they were going to take the bus to Aunt TT's house. G-ma took them to the bus station to purchase their tickets, but the Ticketmaster denied their request!! Unfortunately you have to be 16 years old to ride the bus, and they were too young to ride it themselves. So instead of a four day vacation at the coast, they settled for a two day stay.
We got to TT's house Saturday afternoon, long enough for VM to take them to the beach and toss around the football. MA and I hung out at the house and played with baby P.
Sunday morning we had a big breakfast, then TJ and AF went down to Embarcadero to kill some time before heading to the beach.
Once we got there, the boys headed straight for the water and dove right in! Brrrrrr! I thought it was a little chilly but they didn't care, they were just happy to be finally in the ocean. After a game of football and a light lunch, they were tired of this beach and wanted to go to beach #2.
Beach #2 had mild waves and the boys were able to rent boogie boards to occupy their time. VM and MA were making sand castles and VM would bury MA's legs in the sand. Afterwards we walked out on the pier in Port San Luis, had a nice dinner and some fabulous desserts.
All in all the boys had a great time and were able to say farewell to their summer vacation!
